Basic Firefighting

Course details

Starting at 8.45am, the morning consists of lectures and films on fire prevention and firefighting techniques, followed by a fire drill in the afternoon, where each candidate will gain valuable experience using the various extinguishers on real fires. Wet weather gear may be required, and old clothing is advised due to smoke etc. Safety boots/protective footwear recommended.
